Your Role

As a Customer Support Engineer, you will be part of the In-Service Support aftermarket section within the Product Unit Anti-Ship Missiles. The section is experiencing massive growth and undergoing an exciting development journey, particularly within technical customer support. As part of this development journey, we are now looking for a driven individual to take on the role of our first Customer Support Engineer! You will be involved from the start in establishing our technical support organization and its capabilities, as well as creating conditions for long-term and sustainable solutions over time.

The role is new within the section and is likely to evolve over time, a development that you will be able to shape! Regardless, you will play a key role in handling incoming customer cases and ensuring prompt handling and feedback. The role primarily aims to meet the customer's needs for what is often advanced technical support, which over time means that you can also be involved in providing answers and addressing the case, but in cases where this is not possible, also ensure that the right expertise is brought in to resolve the issue. Regardless of the situation, you will be involved from the start in building routines, working methods, and systematic approaches from the ground up with a very good opportunity to influence!

The role may involve travel, primarily domestically, but international travel may also occur over time. The section is a wonderful mix of individuals and competencies where we collectively try to lift each other and support one another in our individual challenges. We are not afraid to try new angles and roles to achieve progress and desired results.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone with experience in technical support and case management. You have a strong sense of responsibility, possess calmness, and are a problem solver! You appreciate order and structure and are skilled at moderating complex questions and discussions. We believe you are curious and enjoy challenges, and you work best in an environment where the solution is rarely obvious, and where you are stimulated by the unknown and the opportunity to influence! Of course, you have a good ability to communicate in both Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing. We also believe you should have a good technical understanding and interest to thrive in the role.

Experience from the defense industry and/or the Armed Forces and related technical equipment is a merit but not a requirement.

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable security protection regulations. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, entail requirements for certain citizenship.
